How does 4G outdoor router work?
Insert a mobile phone SIM card in the outdoor 4G router. After connecting to the mobile network, the 4G router provides internet access via its Wi-Fi hotspot and LAN (via the PoE injector).

The LTE modem built into the outdoor router uses the UE Categories to define the performance. The outdoor routers include CAT1/4/6/12/16, each with different speeds and benefits for various applications.
The most popular models are CAT12 and CAT16, which support carrier aggregation and offer a maximum download speed of 600/1000 Mbps. The CAT1/4/6 are suitable for low-traffic demands and applications such as IoT devices.

Flexible Input Power Sources
Comply with 802.3af/at PoE standard, the outdoor 4G router uses one single LAN cable for transmitting both power and data. You can also use a PoE switch to supply power and receive the Ethernet signal.
- The DC power socket supports a wide range of 9~48Volt power sources. You can install a PoE splitter in the router, and connect the router to 12Volt power sources.
